KSET Results 2018 : University of Mysore hosted the KSET (Karnataka state eligibility test) exam for all the candidates who have registered for the exam and to the surprise thousands of candidates have appeared for the examination for the total number of teacher posts released by the University of Mysore and results are out. KSET Paper 1 2 Exam Syllabus 2018-2019

The exam session consisted of 3 papers in two different sessions and the exam consists of 400 marks. Paper I consists of 100 marks, paper II consists of 100 marks and paper III consists of 200 marks. Candidates have written the offline written exam which is multiple choice questions. Candidates have marked the answers in the OMR sheet and the valuation of the papers will be done by system accurately. Candidates have written the exam and are now waiting for the results. To check whether the candidate is qualified or not in the exam is based on the cut – off marks list and cut off is purely based on reservation criteria and the general category candidates should get 180 marks out of 400 to get qualified. Getting 180 marks does not qualify the candidate, for every paper there is a sectional cut off. Paper I consists of 100 marks and candidate should get at least 40 marks, paper II consists of 100 marks and candidate should get at least 40 marks, paper III consists of 200 marks and candidate should get at least 100 marks.

Other category students such as BC, SC, ST, minority candidates should get 150 marks in order to get qualified and there will be sectional cut off here also Paper I consists of 100 marks and candidate should get at least 35 marks, paper II consists of 100 marks and candidate should get at least 35 marks, paper III consists of 200 marks and candidate should get at least 80 marks. The candidates who meet the above criteria will be selected for the further rounds of the test.

After completion of the exam, the University of Mysore released the key paper. Candidates will be able to get the idea of how many marks they will be going to get in the exam by using key paper. Steps to download KSET Results 2018

Go to the official website http://kset.uni-mysore.ac.in

Check for the result link 2018 notification which is visible on the right side.

Then click on KSET result 2018 link.

Fill in the details i.e., hall ticket number, date of birth and password in the respective field and click on ‘submit’.

The result will be shown on the screen.

The details shown on the result page are candidate name, fathers name, grand total, Result.

Download the result and take a print out if necessary.
